Not your average, hair care class. This bootcamp is so much more than hair. Our five day sessions also include skills like personal affirmations, building self confidence, setting goals and understanding the importance of nutrition and fitness.

The Back 2 Basics Bootcamp is a hair-raising adventure launched in 2022 by the dynamic duo,
Ms. LaKeysha, Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, and Ms. Erica, Professional Braider!
They're on a mission to help our youth learn to cherish and care for their fabulous natural hair. The pair has already inspired dozens of tweens and teens, guiding them on their hair journey.
If you'd like to join the mission and sponsor a participant, come on, we'd love to have you. The skills learned in the bootcamp are essential and lifelong. This summer, we invite community members, businesses, and organizations to sponsor a participant. Together, we can ensure our youth can learn to care for their crown and carry themselves with confidence!
